MARSHALL PRYOR
Marshall Pryor’s professional experience is amazingly diverse. He served as a church pastor for 15 years, a stockbroker and tax/financial consultant for 25 years, land developer, builder of custom homes, and owner of assisted living facilities. He has been guest speaker at international church and educational forums and ministerial conferences throughout the United States.
Marshall Pryor has specialized in senior housing – skilled nursing, assisted living and independent living using both social and institutional models for over 35 years. Mr. Pryor has an extensive background in counseling the elderly, building senior facilities, and is a certificated assisted living administrator.
Mr. Pryor received his initial exposure to senior housing through a pioneer in gerontology, continuing care of the elderly and creator of the Life Care concept. Mr. Pryor holds the degree of Master of Business Administration (Finance), was a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® and has served on the Golden Empire Health Systems Agency Board of Governors. He has been a featured columnist for Senior Magazine, Veterans Press and various other publications relating to senior issues. Bob Shallitt in the Sacramento Bee featured Mr. Pryor as a “forthright and forward-looking real estate professional.” The Sacramento Bee also featured Mr. Pryor in their front page banner headline as owner/manager of very successful homes for the developmentally disabled.
He is a consummate business professional having owned and operated businesses ranging from land development to real estate schools. Mr. Pryor held the Series 7 investments license/stockbroker for 30 years and was a Fellow in the Life Underwriters Training Council. He served 7 years as a member of the Board of Trustees for Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA and was chosen as a member of the Board of Panelists for the American Arbitration Association.
